Origin
Arohena is located in the Otorohanga district of the Waikato. The pastoral aspect is what I chose to focus on for this painting. The native bush, views across to Mangatautere and the Waikato River, plus the peacefulness and serenity of the area, inspired me to paint this work in a soft impressionist style.
