Religious and spiritual beliefs.
In this painting,
The monk, the dancers
And the older gentleman
Experience these factors,
Though each one takes a different pathway;
Chooses a different life journey
And pursues dissimilar goals.
Yet all are guided
By the spirit of the universe,
To live in harmony with nature.
All is serene,
Though the life force ebbs and flows.
Though the body perishes,
The soul will live forever.
The essence of this work
Is the constancy of life,
And of existence.
