Origin
The Coromandel Nude follows on from the Matataki Nude at the beginning of the nudes gallery. It is rewarding painting a nude in a landscape, as there are similarities in the contours of each genre - one compliments the other.

To add to the sense of repose, I have added a few blossoms. Sometimes, the sentinels, or mountain slopes in the Coromandel, are dark and mysterious, but the skies there are forever sunny.
