Origin
Using tree trunks and bamboo shafts to divide this painting into three sections, I developed each part into complementary facets, and used the koru plant form as a motif.

The design of each facet creates movement; the colours are of the South Pacific, and all is accentuated by the variety and lushness of the New Zealand landscape and topography in a global context.
