A lone branch, still bearing leaves was leaning against a pile of broken masonry pieces. Alongside were two tablets hewn out of rock. This portion of the battery seemed tranquil - the tablets showing resolve and strength; the rocks supporting and giving life to a nearly dead tree branch.
